"Friend" of mine wants to download songs from napster and make their own CD's.

I go over to install the CD burner, D/L and install napster and EZCD creator.

They only have a modem, so of course slow.

Showed him how to use napster. I told him to grab a bunch of songs, go to bed and you'll have them in the morning.

Real phrase:

Moron: "Ok, after I get them in the queue I can shut off the computer and go to bed."

Me: "No, you need to leave your computer on and online"

*shakes head*

*bangs head into wall*

Guy enrolled in the School's computer repair class is asked by one of his non-technical friends to help him save his report on a floppy disk. Said student then does a hard powerdown, and puts in a floppy disk.😉 It's safe to say that much to the student's amazement, the computer wouldn't boot up, and the report was gone.😱
