Best computer game deal?

I guess this is a two-parter: What's your opinion of the best computer game and where can I buy it the cheapest? I'm looking to buy a Father's day gift and I'd like to see what kind of deals are out there, as I don't buy games that often. I spent nearly $50 for B&W when it first came out, and then it's selling for $20 a week later...

Anyway, I suggest you download about a dozen demos and find the one you like, then check out the for sale/trade forum. With almost any good game there are some people that find out they don't like it.

Im playing Tribes 2 right now and have seen it at best buy for 29.99 a couple weeks ago. (btw youre going to need a good comp to play this game right)

I have also played Tropico demo and it was ok but not something that you can play months from now.

I still play AoE2: Conquros quite a bit and you should be able to find this cheap now but you have to have Age of Kings first.

Sorry I wasn't intellectually challenging enough for you, Istallion. :frown: But a) I don't have enough time to download &amp; play a dozen demos. That's why I'm asking for public opinion. And b) This is a gift. I'm not too interested in buying a used game from someone that didn't like it so that I can wrap it up and give it as a present.

So, anyone else out there have any opinions (positive/negative)?

If he loves action, and has a decent machine, I suggest Serious Sam. This game is hella fun.
