Best Component Video Cables?

Are there any differences between the various brands of component video cables?
Which brand is best?

At the local Circuity City, the Monster cables seemed to be a lot more expensive than the other brands. Are Monster cables good?

Or should I just get the cheapest ones I can find?

Any help would be appreciated
 
GizmoFreak- You might also want to go and ask over at the forums on Matrox Users.

While not really a gaming community, a lot of the members there to professional graphics work and would probably know of a good place to get good cables.

As for Monster Cable products, I've heard mixed reviews all around.

If I were you, I'd definitely go and Ask/Search over at Matrox Users.

You may also want to look around at avsforum.com, I'm sure theres a few discussions. I can summarize for you:

"Does TOO!"
"Does NOT!"
"DOES TOO!"
"DOES NOT!"

(Continue until you can't take it anymore).

IMHO, A decent quality of cable is a good thing. Cables for US$100.00 a foot are probably a nice cable, but in any human-detectable way, probably money wasted.
