Best commonly available WiFi PC Card?

manly

Lifer
Client has a new HP NX9110 that is not WiFi-ready; it does have the necessary hook-up for the Compaq W500 mini-PCI card. :|

What's a good Wireless-G (or combo) card these days that is commonly sold through resale channels? I know Linksys/D-Link/Netgear/etc. are the standard consumer brands, but they aren't too special.

Orinoco used to be great, but it's a bit pricey. Is the Orinoco combo PC card still on the large-ish side? Cisco Aironet is also too pricey.

Both the Orinoco and Cisco cards are just your usual Compaq/D-lInk/NetGear/Linksys cards with a different name. Grab anything that uses a Prism 2.x/3.x chipset, and you should be set.

Garbage.

Cisco cards are way more than your ususal card how many linksys/ dlink cards you know of that support LEAP and TKIP?
