Hey, look! Its my college town acting like tightwads again.

I wonder sometimes about what the city council of Tuscaloosa is thinking. There are some areas of the town that are run-down and need help/better protection and they ignore it while focusing on sofas on college kids front porches and the names of business establishments. Meanwhile, the town is in a growth boom because of a car manufacturing plant and increased business from football games.

If they are gonna go after Bad Ass coffee then they better start gearing up to take on the Hooters that just opened as well.

It is actually in Tuscaloosa, home of the University of Alabama. It is commonplace for frats and other apartments and houses where college kids live to drag out sofas and chairs on the front porches to enjoy the nice southeastern nights while downing some beer and liquor. It isn't common in the residential parts of town away from campus.

This place has good coffee. I've had there stuff on a few jaunts over to Hawaii. Are they on the mainland yet? Back in the day, they used to give out free coffee samples that I would always cash in on. I wonder if the still do that...?
