...and expensive, and noisy. Not to mention huge. I don't need a mini-wood chipper in my kitchen.

I know, I was just asking about the quality of the grind thing. 😛 Are they generally good?

its bad to grind coffee and store it. best to grind at momment of brew, coffee doesn't last all that long before your coffee tastes not as good as it could be. burr grinders ... supposed to grind consistent size. i have a blade since i'm still looking for a good burr at a good price. it def doesn't make a consistent grind. if ur grind is too large, under extract, too small, over extract, either way u get icky coffee.
