Best Codec for Small Files (Audio)

I bought a Sandisk Sansa Clip+ 4GB (Should have gotten the 8GB Model:thumbsdown🙂
and my Music collection is over 17.3GB and I was wondering what is better for low bitrate/Quality files? my device plays (MP3, WMA, FLAC, WAV, OGG Vorbis) so what is the best format for Compression/Quality? I had a Sansa Non plus and I used WMA and 10% quality and I was able to fit all of my music on the device and it still sounded good (To me a little loss of quality just enough to notice it but still listenable)
I know I probably can't fit all of my music in a 4GB Device (I had less music back when I had the Non Plus clip) no matter how low the bitrate I am just looking for the smallest file size possible
Thanks

MP3 is the best way to go for small files and still have them remain compatible.
FLAC, WAV are going to be way too big.

I agree with modelworks - keep stuff mp3! BUT wma (at least the newest version) is a more modern format and I believe about 30-50% more efficient that mp3. In other words, a 128k WMA sounds about as good as a 192kb+ mp3. MP3 is far more compatible though, so I tend to leave it like that.

Instead of converting your entire library, get an micro (or is it mini) sdhc card, your click+ has expandable memory
