Best classic GTO?

I'm not talking about the ones that were produced from 04-07. I'm more interested in the '64-'74 run. Out of the ones that were produced somewhat extensively (so not the '69 Ram Air IV Judge), is there any that are particularly more sought after, or funner to drive?

I had a '64 GTO back in '67. It was fun and fast, but it rode like a damn truck.

My dad had a green one growing up. A drunk driver ran into it at a stop light and completely destroyed the car when i was about 14. I have never seen him so mad.

Wish i still had that car but it was unfixable.....

Pontiac produced, IMHO, the most beautiful and gracefully penned cars during the 64-67 time frame.

69 Goat. Best-looking one to me.

1. 66-67 - looked the best
2. 68-69 - the first half of this Gen looked great.
3. 70-72 - the subtle changes they made to these years really killed the styling IMO
4. 64-65 - the first goats werent as good looking as Gen 2
5. 73+ - this is the worst direction GM took with the styling of their intermediates.
