Best Cingular usable phone

He says he wants a regular phone and then he says he wants the best one for text messaging.

Dude, you dont need advice from us. You need to write the phone manufacturers and demand something new and improved.

EDIT: maybe one that emits a beam to make a keyboard. I heard they tried that with a PDA but it didnt work well.

EDIT 2: Actually you do have a couple choices that exist right now. Both motorola and LG made bar style phones that flip open to a full keypad. As I understand the Motos tend be a little better quality and wont open unless you really want them to.

Anything with a keyboard?

Well I would rather have a phone-phone and not a PDA type. I'm sorry I should have said that in the OP.

phone-phone?

I don't need a PDA is what I am saying. Something smaller that has a good text messaging set up.
Like the Samsung D307 sciencewhiz pointed out.

Motorola's use their own version of predictive typing, it works pretty well.

I was thinking about may'be a Razr. I know a bunch of people with those that text alot.

Thanks. I sorta like the Sidekick 2, but that's a Tmobile thing.

Anyone have one of those?
Seems like a great phone for a great price.
Whoops, almost forgot. I did have that phone.
For one day.
It flips open too easily and the full keypad cant be used during certain operations. Also had crummy send and recieve ability. Its a HORRIBLE deal for the money, no matter how cheap you get it.
