I want to improve my wife's surfing experience.

Currently her machine is an Asus Cusl2 with a Tulatin 1.2 gig proceesor with 512 ram.( the Cusl2 is maxed out at 512)

Or

I could rebuild an old machine which would be:

Asus P3bf with 1.0 gig processor with 1 gig of ram

Would the extra 512 ram have more of a positive affect than the loss of the 200 meg in speed?

Internet speed is 5000 dwn and 512 up

Her machine is extemely slow now so I am assuming it is the shortage of ram.
