Hi all. I am wondering about which ram configuration to go with on my new computer. i am getting a 800mhz fsb p4 and a intel 875 chipset. I know corsair ram is really good but for their best pc3200 with 2-2-2-5 timing its about 550-600 canadian (two 512mb chips). I can get cl2.5 (2.5,3,3,6) for about 230, for two 512mb chips. I dont think i want to spend that much for the corsair, but i could get two 256mb of the best corsair for say 50 bucks more than two 512mb of the "cheap" stuff. This way maybe i could just buy two more corsair down the line.... I hope this is all clear but basically im not sure if 512mb of corsair is a better idea for now or 1gb of ram with slower memory timings. maybe 1gb of ram is overkill right now as well. Im also not sure if 4 256mb corsair chips will work down the line. The mobo im looking at is the asus p4c800 deluxe. Im a little dissapointed that they didnt use intels csa, but I only use my computer for internet things and im sure that the 3com route is plenty fast.

One last thing, im not really into overclocking but it seems like i could get another 200 or so mhz out of the cpu with stock cooling, and in that case I guess I would need the corsair....

Your opinions would be appreciated
