Best Cheapest DVD Player

I could have posted this is Hot Deals/ I Wanna but no one would see it.

What is the lowest priced dvd player that is still somewhat good?

I might be adding semi-good surround sound speakers later, but for now a cheap tv with no RCA in.

Any suggestions?

i think you can have good or cheap to the extreme, but not both.

Apex = suck

I would try out those Mintek, Norcent, etc players over the Apex - just make sure it has your type of optical connection and option for component output.

I'm not sure if it's "the best" but you can buy a Norcent DVD Player for $29 after MIR from Amazon.com

Also it can be hacked to "region free".
