need a new mobo for my bros amd xp...

i was looking at the msi delta lsr, i have one in my sisters comp and i pulled the old 2600+ ->3200+, and was wondering if that is the cheapest good o/cing board for socket a

if it isnt, please recommend a good one

Asus E-Deluxe and the NF7-S Rev 2 are the best Socket A boards. I had both and only reason I sold the NF7-S board was because the Asus seem to have more realiability overall.

Shuttle AN35N Ultra is a great OC'ing board without the fancy features like Firewire etc etc.

Should be around $50 new.

I had a NF7-S Rev 2 mobo and it was a solid overclocker...i ran a xp2500 mobile in it and had it running at xp3200 equivalent..rock solid...it has a nice range of voltage adjustments for memory and cpu core plus ability to set fsb mulitpliers for unlocked procs.

Although several online retailers, including Newegg, did put the A35N's on sale for prices in the low to mid $50 range last summer and fall, the MSRP is closer to $70, and neither Price Grabber nor Pricewatch could show me anything to beat the mid $60's last month. I've seen A7N8X-X's as inexpensive as that, and just bought one for a project-- couldn't be happier with the purchase!

NF7-s is in my kid's system with a 35w@2.5ghz, Soundstorm is the killer feature along with good voltage range.
