Best cheap Car stereo head unit?

I have a nice amp(kenwood) and a couple of pair of speakers(pioner and jensen) I'm going to use. I would like a quality no frills unit with a CD player and preamp out. MP3 would be nice but not a deal breaker if it doesnt.

Any recommendations from ATOT car audio experts would be appreciated

I'm not a car audio expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I got a Kenwood Excelon KDC-X891 from MillionBuy.com and was pleased more than pleased with the price.

If you're looking for cheap, then the KDC-X591 is pretty hard to beat, especially considering its preout voltage.

As always, do a little research (Crutchfield has a pretty nice Search engine, but way high prices) before buying...

EDIT: Just to be clear on the HD Radio ready though...like more HD Radio ready receivers, this doesn't actually have a HD Radio tuner in it, it's just compatible with the Kenwood HD Radio box that you can buy seperatly and then with that, you can listen to both HD Radio and AM/FM radio.
