Best, cheap ~500GB SSD?

I bought a 500gb transcend ssd370. Solid drive, good controller, and great software that allows you to clone your OS and install firmware updates. Best part is no drama as with the Evo drives. Amazon has it for $176

This, also the OCZ ARC if you can find it on sale, probably the cheapest 500GB drives you'll find especially with a discount.

I would go with Crucial. BX100, MX100, MX200 or if you can still find an M500.

I was considering the Crucial SDD as well. I have always had a good experience with their customer support.

Good choice, maybe wait for some deal to pop up cause it's expensive otherwise
