where would i buy a t-bred 2100+ for the best chances of getting a B version and a good stepping?
right now im considering the 2100+ retail at newegg, will this overclock as high as an OEM one under similar conditions?
do i have a better chance of getting a good oc'er if i get OEM over retail?

what im planning to do as of now:
i will be getting two new systems: first one with the retail 2100+ at newegg (see if it oc's well) and later another 2100+ OEM with an AX-7 and a thermalright smartfan2
which stepping is best for 2100+ overclocking?
PC2700 on the first system, 3200 on the other
both using epox 8rda+
two panaflos (one in one out, will i need more?)
getting codegen CAT-6061 from newegg
thanks

Hi,

I just bought 2 of Newegg's OEM 2100's. I put one in my Asus A7N8X deluxe, changed FSB to 166, x13.5 and it booted to xp2800. I also tried x14 to get it listing 2332mhz. I'm using a ThermalRight SLK-900U/Thermaltake Smartfan and Corsair xms3200 (x2 256mg). I haven't put an OS on, so I'm not sure what will happen under "real" testing but these chips look pretty good so far.

Here is the info on one chip: AXDA2100DUT3C 9842707280246 AIUHB0302MPMW

Good luck

Do you have to do anything to get that 2100+ run at multiplier 13.5 or 14, cause my Asus a7n8x deluxe won't let me boot at 13 or higher. Thanks

Is this a Tbred B? The model number there is AXDA2100UT3C. I got an XP1700 Tbred there, this one I believe - that is a Tbred B. Haven't really gotten to use it much, as the power supply blew out (namebrand PSU no less).

I haven't done any mods on the chip. I have the 1003 bios right now. I haven't changed any bios settings other than FSB and multiplier. Mem settings are default at: "Optimized" and voltages are all default as well. It boots up to XP fine, but only lasts 10 to 15 min in Prime95, so I need to tweak it.
