I need to get a cellular phone for work, and I live in Chicago. Who has the best equipment in the area? Work is paying for the plan, so I don't care about costs.. I'm just looking for the best service.
Verizon rules in Bay Area!
Try it with Sprint and ATT when you cross Bay Bridge,
Your voice will be braking up and your call will be cut off eventually.
With Verizon, you get free of charge when you
change your plan (should do it every time they have better deals)
have your # temporary disconnect (less than 2 months)
can check your minutes and pay bill on line.
I agree ATT sucks in NJ and other places I've used it. Their lines are oversubscribed and I get fast busy signals all the time, especially in high density areas.
My friends say they like Verizon but I won't switch to them out of principle. I hate Verizon.
verizons customer service sucks monkey nuts. i used them for over 2 yrs. my phone crapped out on me. ordered a new phone, the phone was DOA. i asked them to send me a replacement, they told me i had to pay for the replacement first before they would send it out
Verizon is known to be the best overall, but I don't know specifically for the Chicago area. Reason Verzion works best is because its tri-mode, Analog, Digital, and PCS. Hence, its the most expensive...
