Best cell phone out?

My contract is up so i need to get a new one, im thinking about getting rid of cingular. What are some of the best cell phones out now? The only requirement is that it is a flip phone.

Define "best." Different people have different needs, so that Treo 650 won't be the "best" phone for that 14 year old.

I have a Motorola V501 which I am quite happy about, with Cingular service...

Why are you switching away from Cingular? I travel around the country for my job, and have been quite happy with Cingular's service

i say the SE710a or something like that. it'll cost ya tho.
Not only does it look cool, but I have seen an overwhelming majority of positive reviews on that phone.

The motorola A630 qualifies as a flip-phone, but I dont know if thats what you had in mind.

Both are available with T-mobile.

Am currently an ATT customer and really dont want to deal with Cingular.
I'll let you know when I make my decision to switch services.

I get my bills from Cingular, but I can still use my old phone and my old blue SIM.
If I want to make ANY changes to service I have to move completely over to Cingular.
This includes dropping my phone and SIM.
Since I like what I have now, I think I'll hold off a few months.
But I AM tempted. Daily.
🙁

I've got some old Verizon phone (flipphone) that is indestructable. Black and green screen. Dropping it off a balcony didnt' kill it, either did using it as a hackysack.
