Sorry, no advice except NOT to get Sprint if you frequent the north side of Chicago. That's the biggest problem area for Sprint. If you need to use the phone in rural areas, I think AT&T and Verizon are the best bet because you can usually pick up a native, albeit analog signal, whereas you need to pay roaming fees with Sprint, since their towers are digital only, and they've only built them in major metro areas and along major highways so far. Give them 10-20 years, and they should have most or the country covered.
