Hi,

After a year now of having to watch out for buffer underruns with my current burner im thinking of getting one of these new Plextor Burn Proof Ide burners :)

With me going for the cheaper OEM was wondering which software would i be best off getting for using with CDR and CDRW?

I currently use CDRWin as it is low profile and doesnt sit in the background all the time so keeping my system overheads low till needed :)

Would this still be my best bet or is there something better out there i havent stumbled across yet?

Ur help be much appreciated on this guys ;)

If you want to do audio, then I've not yet found anything that beats Feurio, in fact, nothing I've yet tried even comes close.

For data, Nero is better than EZ CD creator, although EZCD 4 has better Win 2k support and is slightly less buggy.

wtf ... EZCD wouldn't recognize my Plextor 12/10/32A, limited configuration, and that damn "helper" keeps crashing my sys. Nero BTW is much better :)

I use lot's of proggies here. Nero, PlexTools, Fireburner, WinOnCD and Clone CD. Like them all ...

Heh, i used to use EZCD 3.5, was buggy so booted off my HD :(
Hope nero's better :)

Nero is good.
CloneCD is good.
Plextor DiscDupe is good to, but only works with plextor drives.

I personally use Nero and CDRWin.
