Best CD-ROM drive for Under $30???

My parents have lost 2 CD-ROM drives this year.. both were generic (Yummy). I think they are ready for name brand now but I want to get one that will stand the test of time for them.. looking at something from the NewEgg Selection but I'm unsure of what one to get them. They won't use it a lot- just average use..

On good day for Dell Deal, i woud go with Lite-on DVD 16X drive for around 33 bucks shipped.

If not, I heard good things about the Asus CD-rom drive.
