If I am willing to have a 6mo CD, can I get over 4%?

If yes, where please 🙂
 
I think citibank has a 9 month cd at 4.10% apy (4.02% i.r). I don't know if you're going to get much over 4%.

I don't know exactly where it was, but my dad just got a 5yr CD for my grandmother at 6%!!!!!!!!!

I don't like anything other than retirement money locked up for more than 1yr at a time, but if anybody's interested, I'll ask my dad where he hooked it up.
 
There are several banks out there that give greater than 4% on savings or checking accounts. Still want a CD?
