My wife would have strung me up if I was holding/feeding our kid and went for that ball but she's not a baseball fan. Football would have been O.K.

I was always taught as a kid at the ballpark to never interfere with the play. There seems to be a great many 'fans' who's mother/father apparently didn't slap them enough when they were kids.
