i use the chase perfect card; it's decent: 1% all purchases and 3% on gas

the citibank divident platinum gives you more opportunities for rebates, but the thing is you have to accumulate a certain amount before you can redeem them

Good thread...I'm also looking to get a new platinum card. Looks like Chase Manhattan or CitiBank...not sure which one. I wanted to upgrade my UM MBNA card, but their platinum line doesn't have any rewards other than having a big yellow 'M' on the card.

The only thing I like about my Chase Perfect Card is the rebates are credited every statement.

Where as CitiBank you have to earn a certain amount before the rebate is paid to you.
