Best cases w/ 120mm fans?

Which cases with 120mm fans do you think are the best? I'll be building a new system soon and want to cut down on the noise.

I'm using an Antec 3700BQE that I really like. Comes with one 120mm in the back and room for another in the front. Fairly cheap too, if that's important.

Depends on how you define "best"?

Best value, in my opinion, is the Compucase LX-6A19 in one form or another.

I just bought one of these last month or so.... GREAT case.. quality build, and amazing airflow.

EXACTLY the same as the Antec inside, so they must be made by the same company, but it's a very well priced case with exceptional cooling. I love that case, I just don't like how bland it is. which is why I got my Wavemaster 🙂

ya, this case seems to be the case of choice on the spcr forums. it's supposedly quieter and better constructed than the sonata. get this and two of those orange nexus fans.

Nexus fans are not worth the money since they cost upwards of $20 each. Yate Loon, who makes the Nexus fans, have other models that sell for way less and work just as well. I can post a link if needed.

CM Stacker, if you've got the room. Best splurge I've made.
Any problems encountered with the length the power cables on your power supply with this case? My current case is pretty big, I have it sitting on the floor, so the size wouldn't be a problem for me.

I'm not sure which way I'll go, but a heavy steel case isn't a bad thing if you have it sitting on the floor. Bumping it with your knee isn't going to knock it around like a really light case.

The Antec 180 is going to be worth a look. It has 4 places for 120mm fans. two in the front and two in the rear. I think it comes with three.

I like these cases except for the stupid plastic clips they use. They don't quite fit the aluminum Evercool fans I chose to use, and so they don't hold them securely, which causes vibration noise - curiously, I think that's what they're supposed to prevent, or so I assume. Whatever the case may be, on both of my 3700AMB's, I broke out the titanium drill bit set, and drilled out 4 new holes per fan hole (and used a Dremel to slice out the stamped grilles) so I could mount a fan using more conventional means - screws. Granted, the aluminum Evercool fans don't have mounting holes on both sides for fan screws, so I used trusty 6/32 machine screws. Now I've got good airflow and low noise.

No problems at all, and I've only got a True380. In fact, I've routed the cables behind the mobo tray and back around where the Crossflow fan is supposed to go, so there's virtually no obstruction. It's built like a tank, you can't beat the expandability, and it's BTX-ready. Overall a fantastic case, if you have the room and like the looks. Personally, I think she's a beaut. Here's a shot of my interior.

Cool, but water cooling makes me nervous. I can't keep the thought of how the radiator hoses in my truck like to leak a little every now and then.

contrary to what the majority of AT believes, i like the TT Tsunami

i have one about 2 feet away from me, its a low hum because of the loud nb fan on my MSI Neo4

in fact, that fan is louder than the 3 case fans + the neopower fan combined

Same here. I hope it comes out soon. I'd also really like to see the 500w Phantom come out too.

The P180 may not end up with the fit and finish of the Lian Li, but it will have a removable MB tray, a reset button, and a price likely $70 cheaper out the door.

The new Thermaltake Armor is nice and probably the best case out there right now. I have a thread about it in Hot Deals where everybody seems like they're buying it. Check it out.
