Best case w/ side window?

I'm going to be in the market for yet another rig and while happy with my Thermaltake Tsunami, it DOES have its limitations (larger vid cards don't fit well etc).

This upcoming rig will have dual X1800XT's in it, so that makes the Tsunami not an option.

That being said, what I'm looking for is:

-solid construction
-side window
-front door/panel (covering drives)
-ideally, HDD's would slide in from the side, not from the aft.
-preferably black, but not set in stone.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Keep the cost to below $200 if possible.

TIA

Lian-Li V1200Plus II (Black or Silver)
Make sure it's V1200, not V1000. V1200 is deeper and can even house E-ATX boards. Not intimidatingly big as V2000, but much more room than V1000. I wish they had V1200 out before I bought my V1000.

I second Lian Li cases.

I actually going from Lian Li (pc-65) and try the Tsunami for the door to keep my 2 toddlers out. LOL.

The Thermaltake Armor Jr. isn't a bad case. T SViking also. If you can afford more, look at the Silverstone SST-TJ05 or Tt Eureka . There's not a vid card made or even envisioned that won't fit in those. May need to do a bit of work on the cooling as the Tj05 was designed before 120mm fans became de rigueur - ooops, looks like the latest production does have 120 f/r. The Tt Xaser is a bit retro. re cooling, but it does have plenty of room for cards and is selling for much less than originally. Even some of the aluminum ones are selling for under $100.

Zepper, I'll take a look at those, tyvm.

But, I must say that that Aurora sure looks about perfect....that rocks Nate.

Man do I love this forum...you guys rock!

The actual card room in the Aurora isn't any diff than the CM Centurions which are variants on the same design. A lot of the depth of that case is tied up in bezel.

I have a thing for Antec Super Lanboy. I have three of them. 😉 It's everything you're looking for, but silver not black (aluminum and very light).
