Best case/PS combo for approximately $100?

Guys, in putting together a Core2 system, looking for an ATX case/PS combo's for my budget of about $100. I was looking at a Antec Sonata2 but have read too many user reviews of PSU being DOA. I don't intend to extraordinary tax the system so I don't think I need any special cooling requirements. Likewise as a bedroom computer, I don't want a lighted side panel. Quietness is a plus as well. Any suggestions, appreciated.

Newegg is out of most of the cases I recommend in the low price area. They have only one R6A model left that is still on sale for under $50. shipped. It looks like folks are really picking up on these high-value cases. Add the iStar TC-350PD1 PSU (more than adequate for any system short of high-end gaming). The only limitation is that long vid cards may not fit w/o moving your HDDs out of the way. The better R5600 series is currently OOS, but would put the shipped total over $100.00 anyway. Alternately, you could get the same PSU from Newegg and put it in the Coolermaster Mystique 631 that svc.com has on sale + rebate = about $45. after rebate shipped to your zip code - nearly $100. + shipping other places. They still have black and silver w/o window - silver is a bit higher price than black. Perhaps the same limitation with the longest vid cards.

Zepper, thanks for your suggestions and I will investigate them. I am not locked at $100, example if great value occurred for $120 I would spend more.

Am hoping the projected cpu price drop of 4/22 will be immediate and real.
