Best Case For Cooling An OC'ed A64 90nm

So what would be the best case for cooling a Wichester 3200+ OC'ed A64 with an XP-90? I don't care about looks either (hint -don't leave out Xasers), just performance and nothing above $180.

if you drop the xp 90 a vapochill extreme edition will definitely do the job and keep your cpu ~50° cooler than most other cases.

well if you dont want phase change dont ask for the best cooling.....

anyway buy lian li. pc-60 (or a v series one if you have too much cash).

oh yes with that see through plastic tunnel i read on it its suppose to cool excellent at a decent sound level.

Yeah. apparently its an "ATX case with a BTX format"

So the PCI slots are positioned near upper in the back, while the CPU is at the bottom of the case. They utilize their front and back fan to create a "wind tunnel" with this plastic that partitions the CPU section of the mobo off from the other parts of the computer.

This allows straight airflow just for the CPU, so it could be cooler. Look at anandtech's review of the TJ06.

i wonder if with this setup a big heatsink like the xp 120 would be enough without a fan like btx cases are suppose to do without a cpu fan even tho the air flow wouldnt be this nice in btx i would think as they dont feature that plastic tunnel.

Best I've seen so far is the Nemesis Elite. Comes with 3 120mm fans: lower front intake, window, upper rear exhaust, and a fan controller.

Why the ceiling of $180.00 ? What is wrong with spending a little more? The Lian Li V2000/2100 would be very good choices. Hell, I'd settle for a v1000/1100 if I was going to air cool.

I have to agree, the Nemesis Elite has the best stock cooling I've seen on a case (3 120mm, aluminum), but the case itself looks a bit immature, even for my age (15yrs). But if you can get premodded cases, a Lian-Li P-series with an extra blowhole will do a great job.

But if you want the best cooling, you'll need a higher cap. I'm spending 300 bucks on a Lian-Li V1000B with a bunch of mods including an extra 120mm blowhole. I hear this is one of the best air-cooled mid-tower cases you can get, and a plain V1000 with no mods or windows costs about 190.
