Best case for $100

Out of those two cases the Sonata wins hands down. For around that price you could get the Antec P180 though. You could also look at the P160, a Cooler Master or a Lian-Li.

The P180 is about 120 - 130 bucks and is the best case for that price period. For about 100 bucks, you could pick up a Sonata, a Praetorian (I think), and some low end Lian Li's, like the PC6s and 7s.

Do you require a PSU for that price?
The Sonata is not a very good $100 case, but the PSU included in that price makes it a good deal.

Yeah I have to agree. The SLK-3000b is a better case than the Sonata. But the included PSU is what makes it a killer deal. I'd recommend the Thermaltake Soprano over the Sonata. It's quite a bit quieter than the Tsunami, but it's got excellent airflow and good looks, with decent quality.

My vote is for the Tsunami. Very nice looking and excellent thermal properties. It is however on the loud side relative to other cases. Performance vs. quietness, depends what's important.
