Best case fan connection?

Well i think its best to connect them to the psu, because then there is no chance of frying the board or anything, and all you lose is speed monitoring, which i find totaly non-useful anyway, since you can hear if a fan stops for some reason, or if it starts grinding against something.
 
plug the important fans into your mobo (cpu/ vid card fan)
plug case fans and etc. into pSU

it is hard to hear a fan power down if there are mutiple fans..
