BEST case ever designed?

A few people have mentioned these things already but here are my 2c on what would make the perfect case.

1) Keep the heat generating components separate from each other. I would probably want 1 section for the Mobo and another with the PSU/hard drives that are separated from each other. No need to have the HD and PSU warming up the CPU.

2) Keep the fans to a minimum, think about airflow. I'd say you only need 2-3 120mm fans in the case TOTAL. 1 would be on the PSU, blowing the hot air from the hard drives out of the case. The other 1 would be an intake fan for the CPU, and finally perhaps 1 more for an exhaust. So we're talking 2-3 120mms TOTAL inclusing CPU fan and PSU fan.
 
you'd probably do better just to copy the g5 case😉 can't beat temp zones and software controlled fan speeds.
 
good design, but i dont think u need that many fans in such a small enclosure,,, remember it doesnt matter how many fans u have in it, they will never bring the temp down below room temp....just make sure u have a good air flow pattern,,,,,,, but, once again the design looks good so far,,,,,i would buy one :thumbsup: 😉
 
I like it. It'd be one big sumb1tch tho! And that's great! Bigger is better (seriously) when working with computers imho. Anyways, it's good, but, deepen the case a few inches, (by deepen i mean increase length from front bezel to the back), then switch the 92mm fan with the bottom 120mm, and put the 92mm fan to the right of the 120mm intake on the side panel. This would help cool the nb and RAM at the same time. Awesome design !
 
If I were to design a case it'd only have 2 external 5 1/4 bays, and I'd have 2 120mm fans stacked in the front of the case with 1 120mm fan in the rear, and 1 92mm fan on the top. after you add your psu you end up with even flow and massive amounts of air being moved. but as to the position of the psu I'd leave it alone, it's well placed in atx cases now to move the ata cables onto the mobo without any short cable issues.
