Best card right now for 150$ or less

My friend needs to upgrade from a 32MB Geforce2MX. What's the best think the 150 range? I would prefer a true direct X 9 part.

It might cost a bit more than 150 or you might find a few around for about 150,
but I would have to say that any ATI flavored Radeon 9500 Pro would be the best price for performance card out.

Ya I would say ASUS TI4200 8x 128mb I have this and it is great. ATI is really coming around but I would stick with NVIDIA

I just looked around you can't really find a 9500 PRO for less than $150.

For your budget a ti4200 is fine-but if you can swing another $15 a 9500PRO is much much more future proof (and it's DX9.0)
