best card for 4xAGP

hey,
i have a 4x AGP port, i was thinking of getting the 8xAGP compliant radeon 9500. will running this card on a 4xAGP system throttle most of its performance. if so, which card do you recommend? thanks

Very few reviews I have seen show a major increase in performance from AGP8X so far. Using an AGP8X board in an AGP4X motherboard will not limit the card much if at all.

no, it won't throttle anything. AGP 8x isn't any faster than AGP 4x in today's systems.

even AGP 2x did not limit the performance ;P
