I was checking out a 98 Acura 3.0 CL here in Canada for $15,555 Canadian dollars. 200hp V6, leather, climate control. It was in great condition.

I agree that the interiors are a little busy, but that's what they're going for with their whole "aircraft cockpit" theme. I think the 9-5's interior isn't bad at all.Originally posted by: gregshin

How about a used Saab? They're FWD but depreciation is your friend and according to JD Power, Saab has become one of the most reliable European brands in recent years.Originally posted by: se7enty7
something less "high-schoolish". mid-size would be good, something with decent power, manual tranny would be nice, rwd nice but not required, leather, climate control,.....
mmm dont like the saab interiors at all and their chassis isnt that great....also since they are turboed ur probably gonna get a turbo thats on its last legs...remember turbos last usually around 70k with decent matience.
As for the chassis of both cars - some people like the driving dynamics of Saabs and some don't. Personally, I like them. There's better out there but I think they're fun cars to drive.
And turbos can last well past 70K with decent maintenance... not sure where that idea came from.
I'd be hard pressed to do otherwise. There is little more boring than sitting in a car for a minute or two while it warms up before going. I hop in and GO!Average user who owns turbo cars do NOT maintain their turbos well....for example improper warm up time and shut down time kills turbos. I see people who hop in their volvo's, audis, saabs, (turboed) turn the key and just drive off....i shudder at that sight.
