Did anyone mention a used M3?

Seconded, A used BMW 3 series even would give you a car that is very fun to drive and is practical. M3s are amazing to drive but if you can't get your hands on a good used one, try a used 330i, not nearly as spectacular but they make excellent commuter cars and on twisty back roads they are amazingly fun to drive. I own a 2001 330i and a 1995 540i. A E34 can be had for quite cheap these days but they are horrible cars to maintain. But one thing for sure, that little 4 liter V8 makes that car scream, and for a nearly 4000 pound car it handles incredibly well. E34s, probably some of the best cars BMW has ever made, especially the 540i 😀

Okay I'll admit it I am a HUGE BMW FANBOY

3 series is nice, but...hmmmmmm..... :Q Anyone hear more about this?

Um... are you talking about fastest on the track, best value, or best overall car?
You can't get a G35 coupe in manual for $30k and the RX-8 top of the line is like $28k

I own the Z and decided against the RX-8 for many many reasons so I'm a bit biased.

Also if you're talking about all cars in the $30k range you better include the STI and Evo.

Best overall car... including best interior.

Way too subjective.

sti, cobra, gto...the cars u have picked suck...big time

02/03 cobra isnt made any more unless ur talking about the new gt500 which is marked up too much to be compared to anything but gto is an awesome straight line car but straight line isnt everything. this is for the best allround car, easy to drive, nice interior, great handling/braking, good straight line speed. you have to give the 350z props that it is a very well rounded car but yes you can get faster cars for around the same price
So you're looking for a "Jack of all trades but master of none"?
I'd second the Mustang. Might as well be able to spank ass in one of the categories.
