I visited the "Transparent" VW factory today in Dresden and got to play around with the audio system of a Phaeton (after the factory tour). I must say it's the best car audio system I've heard to date. I felt like I was in a concert hall listening to the real deal. Very impressive. No, it's not a Bose system.

Greetings from Frankfurt BTW! I am here for meetings with Deutsche Bank and the European Central Bank.

Beautiful. Would you believe me if I said they only produce 25 cars per day? Well, they do. I guess beautiful doesn't mean efficient. It could very well be the world's largest showcase!

For over $100k and a VW logo on the front, it better sound good.

When you pay top dollar for a car, you expect a step up. A VW badge is still a VW badge. Over half the people on the road would just be like "oh...the new Jetta"

Have you heard the system in the S class? Man, I listen to some classical music in there, and I never used to bother with that kind of music (still don't bother with it outside the S Class)

Thats why it isn't/wasn't a big hit.
