What is the best tasting can of chili? I normally eat Stagg or Dennisons but i'm getting sick of the flavor and want something tasty and spicy. Anyone reccomend me a good can of chili?

There is no canned chili that is even close to good.

I only want a can of chili cuz its convenient on nights when I'm starving and nothing else is in the house to eat.

Actually, I do the same thing with canned foods. Since the differences between all the brands is really insignificant, shop for price and only avoid the brands you hate.

I agree, there's no canned chili that is palatable by itself. It's all bland and spiceless junk that's chili in name only. If you absolutely must keep some around for emergencies, at least keep some onions and some hot peppers around too. Take a can of chili, dice up a fresh onion and a some sort of hot pepper (as hot as you can stand) and you can turn a bland can of mass-market chili into something that actually tastes good. Even canned chilis or jalapeno peppers from Old El Paso can improve canned chili by 100%. If you spice up canned stuff by adding a few fresh infredients when cooking almost any brand will do, buy whatever's cheapest.

I kind of like the stuff that they sell in costco (dont know if they still sell it, its been a while since I have bought it)

My fav is Dennison's and occasionally I like some Stag... Laredo anyway. I don't care much for there other varieties.

Haven't had any other canned chili that's as good as those.

Back in my days as a hobo, the other drifters and I used to love Hormel when we could afford it. Nothing like chili heated up in the can over an open fire while you're sitting under a bridge.
