Best Calender?? Online or otherwise..

I need a calender. I need it to be FULL screen. Need to be able to add tasks, events or whatever to the days. Require very little resources. Most of these things are pretty common in different Calenders but I haven't found one I liked.. So far I have tried Outlook and a couple online ones.. I like the on line ones because I can maximize the page and hide the top taskbar so it appears to be a full page app..

I want it to be full screen to use as entire workspace in UBUNTU (Linux). If I could somehow lock it would be even better..
 
I'm using it right now. It's not bad, it's just not great.. I can't believe Google can give away a better product then someone can sell.
 
have you tried basecamp?

i've heard good things about it, but have never really tried it due to my hatred of 37signals
