i'm looking to do a rig update soon and i'll be keeping my watercooling and dual 7800gtx, I'm lookint to pickup either a e6300 or 6400, 2gb of ddr2 800 and a nice mobo, but I am unsure as to which mobo to get. Any advice would be most appreciated.

I'd have to agree.

Right now there's no other decent choices when OCing is involved, as current nF4/5 mobos = sh!t for OCing, which leaves you with having to run 975X/P965 mobos with hacked SLI drivers...

In fact, depending on the pure performance of these boards in overclocked environments with a different memory interface. They may actually produce better results than p965. That may pursuade me to buy one. I'm a big fan of DFI, and if they deliver like they did with the Lanparty SLI590 and their older Lanparty NF4 boards...I may be sold on a pre-mature upgrade.

I would wait as well. Also, does DFI still have an upcoming C2Duo board based on ATIs new chipset coming out soon?

Only release dates I have heard for DFI is towards end of November. We'll have to wait and see if that includes their 680i version.
