Best Buy's Definition of "Accessory"

accesories are only the items that best buy has a profit margin of over 80% on. I couldn't believe how insane the markups are on some things when my GF started working there a couple months ago. $40 batteries cost them $11. $25 mice cost them $15. Even bigger stuff-$280 for car stereos that cost them $145.
 
Keyboards are a "peripheral". An accessory is something that just adds to an item, not an item that is in itself providing a function.
