I didn't know Best Buy did this...I didnt think they could be that stupid, but I stand corrected.

I think a lof of it has to do with the fact they the l33t crowd expects everyone to know as much technical stuff ast they do and unfortunately retail sales jobs aren't too high up on the radar of those possessing that kind of knowledge.

A ton of stores use systems like this. I work at macys, and we use the same registers and wireless equipment as BB.
