Best Buy return question???

How rigid is Best Buy on their 30 day return period? Can you return anything after that time or are they pretty picky?
After 30 days you have to take it up with the manufacturer (if the item is broken).

depends on the manager. if you are nice you may get a refund or a store credit.

Yep... if you bitch around though and its only a day or two after 30 days... some managers are nice enough to just give you an exchange or credit... no returns though. Not in my case at least.

their online customer service kicks ass tho...at least for me 😀

So the RAM I bought and stupidly opened before I checked it was compatible is mine all mine eh??

D@mmit!

<smacks forehead>

Stupid! Stupid ! Stupid!

Hehe...I implemented the "dumb girl" method. My gf took the RAm in and asked if they would take it back. They told her they could exchange it for the correct type, so she walked out with 256MB PC 2100 DDR SODIMM for the price of the original PC133. And they had a $20 rebate.....heckuva deal.

BB still sucks, but sometimes they make a mistake and are good to me!

For a place that A) you shop at and B) just cut you some slack, you have a lot of balls saying they suck

I returned something after 30 days and got store credit, so be sure to talk to the manager and not the person working the counter, because they usually just tell you to talk to the manufacturer.

Yeah, she said the manager is who came over and approved it for her...

BB does still suck overall. The only reason I bought the RAM there in the first place was because it was the only local place with it in stock.

I've personally had several problems with them in the past....a camera and a TV notably. Know several others with bad histories too.
