Anyone know BBs return policy on RAM? I had one of my 2 sticks from a set go bad on me, and Newegg is making me ship BOTH back to get it replaced....and i have no spares. I was gonna grab a stick from BB and hope to return it once i got my other ones back, but Im not sure if I can....anyone have any ideas/info?

That is considered taboo in retail. John says its fraud, but he never came back to tell me about it.

RAM I think qualifies for their 14 day 15% restocking fee policy.

When I worked in the computer dept. at BB I never recall us charging restocking fees on RAM. They usually only charge restocking fees on things that they actually "restock" and sell used, like computers, laptops, monitors, printers, and scanners.

Things like RAM, video cards, hard drives, etc. we didn't resell used, so no restocking fee.

Just claim the RAM started doing weird stuff to your machine after a week or so. You might want to check whether it's 14 day or 30 day return for RAM though.
