Best Buy rebates suck

I've got 1 out 4 and somehow they don't show any records in their database for the other 3. Now it's past the postmark date so I can't send them in again. That's f@#$ shady.

If they don't have it you sure can send it in again. Or you can just compain to the BBB and/or Attorney General.

Or just take the product back to the store, dispute with the CC company, etc. There aer always recourses to rebate issues.

Rebates suck in general and are a big scam. Staples new rebate system is awesome though and I hope other retailers start using a similar system.

I get my BB rebates back all the time.

Make sure you have photocopies of what you sent in.

Just sent in BB rebates for $180. Hope I don't have any problems with it, although I did make photocopies.

Bingo. That's why I don't do rebates at all. Ever. I want an instant discount, sale price, or a coupon that provides me the ability to walk out of the store having purchased the item for the desired price and not requiring further business to modify the price of the product.

Store rebates are a huge scam. There is no reason why they couldn't just offer it at the lower price, except for the fact they hope you don't send in the rebate.
