Best Buy question.

If they advertise something in the Sunday ad and it's a dicounted price, can I use a 10% off coupon as well? Is it up to the person rining it up or will the computer not allow the extra 10%?
Anyone done this before?

Does the coupon say that its not valid with any offers or special prices?

Good question. I don't have it on me right now but it's the normal BB 10% off deal I get every month or two. I am pretty sure they all have the "Offer cannot be combined with any other...". I just don't know since the item isn't a specific "sale" item. It's just discounted an extra 10% in the first place. I would like to add the additional 10% off but it's probably a stretch.

Usually those coupons work for sale prices.

The kicker is that the coupons usually list things you can't buy with it... like some will list that you can only buy media, while some list that you can only buy computer acessories.

The fine print says the 10% off will taken off the regular price if it is on sale.

So if something that is regularly $400 is on sale for $380 and you have a coupon, they will take 10% off $400 and you would pay $360...

A friend of mine used it on a digital camera on sale and that is what happened.

Unless you can talk the CSR into applying the coupon to sale price...definite YMMV on that though...

That was my thought also. The paper says After instant savings or something similar.

I guess you missed the part about me not having the coupon in front of me.
Reading comprehension>>>you

It all depends on the person ringing you. I bought a TV on sale yesterday with a coupon. They slapped the coupon on top.

Yep. Officially it's 10% off regular price but sometimes they'll allow it.

YMMV of course.
