Best Buy Notebook Accessory Bundle

All you fellas that got your new dell notebooks might wanna consider this for some accessories:

at best buy they have a Targus Notebook Essentials pack. It has a 4port mini usb 2.0 hub, a wireless notebook optical mouse, a surge protector, and a retractable rj45 cable with rj11 adapters. Heres the thing, it's supposed to be $80, but the price on the shelf (in THREE different places at the store!) says $46.99. It also says you get 10% off it and any other accessories if you purchase them on the same receipt.

I got the bundle, a targus backpack, and a wireless notebook pcmcia card, and they gave me 10% off all three items, AND the $46.99 price on the accessory bundle. like I said, YMMV, especially on the price mistake, but it's worth checking out, especially for the 10% off. good luck!

Edit: BTW this was in store, I haven't looked for it online because I am too lazy😛

the package says the surge protector "works with all notebooks" but I have a dell 8600 and the connectors don't match up. I don't want to have to return it because they'll take the 10% savings away... I think I might have gotten a return, because the mouse was scuffed a little. I'm thinking maybe I'm missing the part that matches my dell.

or I'm thinkin the labelling is a big fat smelly liar...

 
that's what I thought too, but that's not what I got. It doesn't have a place to plug a plug into. It has connectors like it's supposed to go between the part that goes into the wall and the part that goes into the computer! do you have this item in your store?
 
great, the mouse that came with it is scuffed, and some of the packaging was opened. DAMN YOU BEST BUY!!

now I'm gonna take it back and they're gonna make me feel like those "devils" just because THEY fookin sold me a fookin return. fookers

still, I think it was a good deal, but still... fookers
 
I used to work there most of that stuff in those bundles is crap look around you will prob find better deals.
