Best Buy Midnight Sale tonight 10/26

likely its the stuff that sat on store shelves for months and coulndt sell otherwise. But i may drop in just to look. thanks

I'm going to try to remember to check back later tonight to see what the sale prices are.

If one of those washers drops in price i may jump.

Is it B&M or online?

edit: I just called them. It's an online sale.

I was at best buy today and the washer I looked at was on sale for the same price as it is on the midnight sale.

So.... did they misprint that stuff or mess up?

The advertisement said they were going to reveal sale prices @12am eastern... I was checking back on the website and sometime around 10pm central all of the product pages were unavailable so I thought they were updating prices.

Then later they were back up, but the prices were the same as they were yesterday afternoon.

Good BB sales are a rare occurrence. Too many people get psychologically taken by stuff like "midnight sale" It mentally triggers them to think "No way they'd be opening up the store at midnight and just for 5hours if they weren't serious."

I appreciate having a local B&M store and honestly wouldn't mind paying a small premium on purchases to support local businesses but Best Buy really price themselves beyond my threshold for support (mostly).

And Amazon and Newegg don't provide you the free service of opening a store near you, and paying for people and inventory to let you inspect items then go buy online.

How many times do you shop in a B&M and end up saying to yourself, this is why online is winning, B&M stink?

Online doesn't let you hold the item in your hands, but way too much of the time nether does B&M. Local stores don't stock anything like the variety of online, so the local experience is drive to the store and find out they don't have it, and even when they do have it, its a sealed box, or in the case of tablets which was our last excursion to BB half the demo units didn't work, one kept setting off the theft alarm. What really sucked though, was the item we wanted was a small USB hub for my wife's laptop travel kit, $5 online in a variety of brands, BB nothing but the house brand Dynex and like $20 for not as compact of a unit, but we needed it now, so there is the singular advantage of B&M.
