What is your #60 spot and an overnight wait going to earn you?

Weee, I just got back from Best Buy in Ithaca, NY. I got the ticket for the Panasonic 42" Plasma. They only had 6 tickets and there was 30 people in front of me and probably 400 behind me. Got everything else I wanted too. It was insane, got there at 8pm and waited in the line till 5am. Mad sleep deprivation yo', sleep time. Have fun.

I thought Black Friday items were limited to one per customer? Or did you have someone else buy the 2nd TV?

i really don't understand why did ppl camp out for 10+ hours to save $200 on a 42" plasma. Could've had the same tv at CC for $1170 delivered to your door earlier in the week, w/ the 10% CC coupon.

I did it partly for the experience and partly cause I had nothing else to do and I really wanted the plasma TV. Saving 200 dollars for 9 hours of standing around is worth it to me, all I would normally be doing is sleeping and I can always find time for that.

"Earned" 20$/hour doing nothing, most saved more anyway.

Several of my relatives have had Panasonic televisions, and all of those televisions died an early death. Hope yours fare better.

WoW is entertainment just like any other video game. Seeing people standing in line for ridiculous hours straight is... others' entertainment !

what does WoW benefit besides for the sake of entertainment? NOTHING, it doesn't get you reward points or save money.

am i cheap for standing in line to save a few hundred bucks? no. i did it mainly for the experience and had a BLAST with all of my friends. i also managed to save money and will end up making money after i sell everything. hell my friend also picked up the toshiba and as soon as he walked out of the door someone offered $450(200 more than what he paid for it) and he sold it right then.
