I hope no AnandTechers got busted. I remember the thread from a couple of months ago. Seems like certain Best Buys are having anyone arrested who tries to get them to honor their advertised price. Here are a couple of links to the story where you can read all about it.

Just curious... I realize one person telling someone it's the wrong forum is ok. But, why do people follow up the 'wrong forum' posts with more 'wrong forum' posts? Is this done just to increase the persons number of posts?

If they ever arrested me for trying to pricematch I woudl get myself a good lawyer. Best Buy has lots of money to pay civil claims.

The guy was arrested for criminal trespass not fraud. He said "I'm not leaving this store without my card". He was wrong.

He was arrested for fraud, but then BB changed their mind and said trespass, its on the police report. They said the reciept was false and said its on the web site for 399.99, which it is NOW, but not when I and others ordered.
