has it always been free? I've problably spent 2-3k at best buy over the years and I just found out today that the rewards card is free. I feel like an idiot for all of the $$ I've probably missed out on.

I only buy things there that are on sale and competitive with newegg, I anticpate needing to return, or I need in an emergency. This pretty much limits my BB purchaces 🙂

I made a few big purchases when they used to count rebates into the points, and it was well worth the $10 I paid for the 1st year, after that I never had to pay for it again as if you let it expire they would send you a letter stating that since you were such a good customer within the last year they would comp you for this year... Now its free and no excuse not to have it...

I got it free when it first started.

I buy my music and movies from BB because it's cheaper than amazon after shipping, so if I'm going to buy them (and I buy a lot) I might as well make a little bit back.

I can't complain about getting free $5+ coupons in the mail once a month.

Yeah, it used to be $5 for every $125 spent, so if you spent $250 there in a year you made your $10 back and everything after that was gravy. Worked very nicely for me when my in-laws purchased a couple of flat panel monitors for their business and put them on my reward zone card. Hopefully my dad will put his HDTV purchase on there this year too 🙂.
